Our Story

Three generations of passion, dedication, and love for the land have made SpudFarm what it is today.

Our Family Legacy

spudfarm began in 1952 when our grandfather, William Thompson, purchased 50 acres of fertile land in Vero Beach, Florida. With nothing but determination and a love for agriculture, he planted his first sweet potato crop and laid the foundation for what would become a family tradition.

Over the decades, each generation has brought innovation and passion to the farm. In the 1980s, our father introduced sustainable farming practices, and today, we continue to honor that commitment while embracing modern agricultural techniques.

Now spanning 200 acres, spudfarm remains a family-owned operation dedicated to growing the finest sweet potatoes while caring for the land that has sustained us for over 70 years.
